FAQs
Why would I want Value-Lift lifters when I could order custom lifters?
Two big reason, time and money. Custom lifters can cost over twice as much as a comparably sized Value-Lift lifters. Like all custom products, custom lifters must be individually produced. This adds up to higher costs and longer lead times.
Will Value-Lift products work in every application?
While Value-Lift standard components will not be appropriate in all applications, they are well suited for most applications at a fraction of the cost.

Is Value-Lift just another cheap import?
No, not at all. In fact, it is made in the USA. We have simply found a better way to produce these parts.
What is Value-Lift made from?
Value-Lift lifters are manufactured from hardened A-2 tool steel to provide maximum toughness, cycle after cycle. All edges are broken and fully finished to prevent material shaving. In addition, the lifters are given a Black Oxide Finish for superior corrosion resistance and lubricity. Finally, each lifter is inspected to insure dimensional accuracy and total quality.
What is Delrin?
Delrin is widely acclaimed as a highly machinable, lightweight, low-friction, and wear-resistant plastic capable of operating in temperatures in excess of 200 degrees Fahrenheit. These properties make it suitable as a general substitute for nonferrous metals. Delrin, first synthesized by DuPont in 1952 and patented in 1956, was used by Mattel from 1968 to 1972 to produce the low-friction wheel bearings found on redline Hot Wheels. It is extensively used today for automotive applications in addition to many others. Its durability, self-lubricating properties and wear-resistance make it ideal for use as stock lifters in most dies and in many cases as stock guides.

Is Delrin right for all lifter applications?
No, Delrin will not be right for all applications. Since stock lifters are not actually guiding the material, Delrin is probably and excellent choice in most applications, even when they are high volume. For stock guides on the other hand, Delrin may not be appropriate in high volume applications. You will have to judge each situation individually. Contact us for a free sample of a Delrin lifter.
